MEMBERSHIP RENEWALS
A plea from our secretary & treasurer.

Please send membership renewals to Secretary Jeff Sardeson. The reason is simple, the club deducts the £3 share of the renewal fee and sends the net £12 to the National membership secretary, it saves us waiting up to 6 months for reimbursement.  Jeff Sardeson Westview Poplar La, Legbourne, Louth LN11 8LY

   EVENTS & CLUB NIGHTS – KEEP ME INFORMED alncn@aol.com 01472 851674

EXTRACT FROM NACELLE

We have to notify the General Secretary of all Branch Rallies, publicly attended shows and even those put on by individual Branch Members, where your motorcycles will be on show and the Branch/Club name is displayed. You must also notify your Branch committee as any claim made against organisers will concern the committees of both Branch and Club and could involve all individual Members in the event of such proceedings. This is of paramount importance in today’s world.

We have to apply this 'belt & braces' approach to all situations where the public is allowed access to view. A good idea is if an interested enthusiast wants a closer look into the roped area, then he/she is quietly warned that this is their responsibility - "At their own risk", is probably the time honoured phrase.

14th LOUTH CLASSIC CAR AND COUNTRY SHOW

Sponsored by T Marris & The Rotary Club of Louth

SUNDAY 1st JUNE 2008

                                                                                                                                    January 2008

Re: - LOUTH CLASSIC CAR SHOW-SUNDAY 1st JUNE 2008

This year’s Louth Classic Car Show is once again being held in conjunction with a Country Show. It is to be held on a picturesque field next to Louth’s bypass.

The Rotary Club of Louth is organising the Country Show side of this event and all the proceeds from stalls etc will be going to Local Charity’s

As you can appreciate it costs a lot to put on a show like this and as we would like to raise as much as possible for charity there will be members of the Rotary about with charity collection buckets.

Entry to the show will be free to all vehicles that have confirmed entry in advance but any donations to the charity buckets will be greatly appreciated.

We are starting the day with an interesting road run of about 30 miles beginning in the Market Place at about 10am.

Cars and Bikes will then return to the Show site from about 11.30am onwards, with YOU judging during the day and prize giving at about 3.00pm.

This years raffle prize will be a Mazda MX5 (a future Classic) the proceeds will go to Local Charities

Please help us in our efforts by buying /selling a book of raffle tickets

A book of raffle tickets will be sent to you with your final entry documentation

This year the raffle will be drawn at the show.

PLEASE NOTE: - Only entrants filling in booking forms and confirming entry in advance will be eligible for free entry. Any one turning up on the day without having the correct entry documentation will have to pay the standard entry fee, and will not be eligible for judging.

Also all cars and bikes etc, entering the show must be mechanically and legally road worthy i.e. taxed and insured with a currant MOT certificate.

Classification numbers, full joining instructions and directions will be sent out by the end of May
