This little Magnavox set measures only 90mm by 75mm. Serial number is 1743282 and date of manufacture is probably late Sixties. The single band (MW) superhet circuit uses eight transistors - six germanium and two silicon. Front end is conventional self-oscillating mixer, followed by two IF stages and diode detector. Two audio stages - using silicon transistors - drive the totem pole output stage via a driver transformer. Battery is standard 9v PP3.
