01/04/05

Tico is eating ok today,He is very happy and sociable. Altough I would like him to eat a lot more he is doing well and is holding a constant weight.Lets hope this month he continues to improve!

02/04/05

Tico's been out and about today, helping us out in the garden and enjoying the sunshine. He's still eating ok but not quite enough for our liking, and keeps hiding behind the TV.

Tico has eaten ok today and again enjoyed some time out in the garden.Although he is not being sick very often he is drinking lots of water and is slightly unsteady on his back legs.

The day started well, Tico ate all his breakfast in under two hours and wanted more!

He had eaten most of a second meal by the time I got home around four thirty pm.

We took him to the vets this evening and the vet told us that the tumour is spreading to Tico's kidneys,he gave him some injections to help make Tico more comfy and some special food to try.Unfortunately the vet says Tico will be extremely lucky if he has another four weeks.We feel absolutley gutted.

Tico is not his usual self anymore,He seems tired and does not want to do a lot.

Having said that, he has done well with his special food so far and has had a thick slice of corned beef as well as lots of cat treats.Tico has perked up a bit this evening and seems quite happy. I am praying for a miracle but I know what is to come.Tico has always been very special to us.The vet wants to see him again tomorrow.

Vets today. He seemed pleased that Tico was eating well, but obviously things are not going to get any better. We've got to go back again on Friday.

Today our wonderful little cat Tico passed away.He battled bravely for the two months we knew he was ill and however long we did not.We miss him already and we shall never forget him.We love him more than we can ever express.

The Future

I shall add more pictures and stories to these pages when I feel up to it !

We received Tico's ashes today,he was cremated on 11th April..

I still really miss him and I wish he was still here.

Tico aged four in our first garden.This photo was taken on the 9th July 1997 a week or so after we had moved in.Tico loved lazing in the sunshine here!
