Well, folks. This small, family run business must have hit the big league as there are currently fake woodcarvings/tacky copies carrying our designs being sold on the Royal Mile in Edinburgh. We have copyright on our large, free standing Celtic Cross and have informed Trading Standards of the poor copy of Andrew's beautiful carving, a unique design, not a cheap, rough, import... Our lawyers are next...
We knew there was a lot of imported junk being sold as 'Scottish' souvenirs available in Edinburgh but didn't think we would be victims - Scottish traders are currently trying to petition for a tax on imported tartan tat, to give real Scottish crafters an equal chance. The petition to Jack McConnell, First Minister will be available here soon...
To read of other Scottish craftworkers work being ripped off, please read this Scotland on Sunday newspaper article
