SYNOPSIS

Rasputin, a holy man with mystical healing powers as well as a lusty appetite for carousing and women, becomes the toast of society.  But his increasing power over the Royal family and numerous women leads to concern and  jealousy in other influential people.  The secret service keep him under surveillance but their findings do not harm the peasant’s influence and so desperate measures are called for.  A group of aristocrats carefully plot a murder, and after a night of riotous partying, Rasputin is lured away to his death.
