Unicorn of Scotland
Our unicorn stands proudly on a bed of thistles, holding a Saltire shield. The unicorn was often used atop the Mercat Cross (Market Cross) and showed a Burgh's right to trade. By at least the 12th century the monument was used for all manner of public announcements, celebrations and humiliations. The unicorn is also a heraldic supporter on the Coat of Arms of Scotland.
Our Unicorn of Scotland measures approx 11'' x 9'' and is delivered ready for wall hanging - £35 plus p & p
