SHEERNESS SWIMMING CLUB & LIFEGUARD CORPS

IN THE COMMUNITY

The Eileen Irving Memorial Charity Swim.

The 2007 event takes place on 15th November.

This annual event was set up in 2005 in memory of our long serving membership secretary Mrs Eileen Irving who had sadly died earlier in that year.

The aim of the swim is to raise money for local good causes chosen by the committee from recommendations by Club members.

The Eileen Irving Memorial Trophy is awarded to the Club member who raises the most sponsorship money.

Another trophy is  awarded to the swimmer who swims the most lengths during the event.
