Adam went to an audition for the part of 'Nick Tilsley' in Coronation Street, the longest running soap in Britian. Adam went along for the experience, he knew he wouldn't get the part! To Adam's suprise the 'Corrie' bosses offered him the job. Adam took the part of 'Nick'. 'Nick' got into a relationship with 'Leanne Battersby.' 'Nick' went to Scotland with his girlfriend 'Leanne', they got married in Scotland. They didn't have any family or friends at the wedding as they did it in secret! It didn't go down well with 'Gail' (Nick's mother), she didn't like the 'Battersby' family! 'Nick' ended up doing nude modeling to earn some money. 'Leanne' got pregnant she wanted to keep the baby but 'Nick' didn't! They got devorced & 'Nick' went to live in Canada with his uncle 'Steven'.
Adam became a heart throb, within a matter of days, he was in all the teen magazine's!

Adam did lots of road show's up & down the country in the summer of 1999, & in the winter Adam went on the Smash hits tour. In between this in the autum of that same year Adam did album signings!

1999-2000

After leaving 'Corrie' Adam went on to pursue a pop career, releasing 'I Breathe Again' which made it to No 5 in the UK charts in June 1999, then he released 'Everything my heart desires' in October 1999. Then came 'Good Times' Adam's Gold selling album! In January 2000 Adam released 'The Best Thing', which was his last single! Hopefully Adam will release more music in the future. Adam got out of the pop industry, as they were trying to make him be someone he wasn't. He was advised not to cut off his hair while in 'Corrie' & the music industry. (Maybe they thought people wouldn't follow Adam if he was to have his hair cut off).

2001-2002

|
Adam went on to play the lead role in the hit musical 'RENT', it was a massive success! Adam played the part of 'Mark'.The cast took 'RENT' all over the UK, & kept up there brilliant acting & singing for over a year. 'RENT' went to the West-End selling out most nights! It made people laugh, cry & wanting more!

Adam appeared in the daytime drama 'Doctors' which was on BBC1 in April 2001, it was also shown on UK Gold in May 2002. Adam played the part of 'Jamie', a holiday rep, who like's being in the sun & using sunbeds. He came back to England to see his parents, his mum was concerned about a mole that was on 'Jamies' back which was bleeding! He goes to the doctor & the doctor is worried that it is skin cancer!

In the summer of 2001 Adam starred in a short film called 'Emergency Exit', Adam play's himself in the film. It was filmed in Holland. It is not out over here, many fans hope it will be released over here!

Adam has been working in L.A a lot this year, we will have to wait to find out what he has been doing out there!
Adam came back to Corrie as Nick in July-August for a short stint, were he swept Maria off her feet! What will 2003 bring for Adam? We'll just have to wait & see.

Adam has just finished a leading role in 'Office Games' in North London, along side Charlie Brookes. It was a brilliant show, would love to see it again!
