Nick is back on the street & he's caught the eye of Maria. He also got mugged when he was out of Richards stag night, Nick went outside to get some fresh air as the alcohol & jet lag started to kick in, Nick was making a call on his mobile when he got mugged. Nick still has his eye on Maria, but Candice has her eye on Nick. The wedding went ahead last night, & Nick & Maria got jiggy in the hotel room! Nick has the house to himself while the rest of the family are on Gail & Richards honeymoon. Nick & Maria spend the night together & Maria phones work to say she's "got a stomach bug" & she's been up all night! Yeah she's been up all night but it wasn't a "stomach bug" more like she was getting jiggy with Nick! Nick has told Maria about Leanne (his ex wife) being pregnant & Nick wanted to get rid of the baby as he was too young to have a baby, Maria understood & didn't blame him. Audrey tells Maria that Nick like's her & she tells Maria to get together with Nick (Audrey doesn't know that they are already seeing each other.) Maria is around at Nick's half dressed when Audrey pops round, all hell brakes loose when she see's Maria is half dressed. She isn't happy that they have been getting jiggy in Gail's house! Nick & Maria don't see anything wrong in doing what they are doing. At work Audrey tells Maria that Nick has a life back in Canada & that she should find a 'local lad.' When Maria is round at Nicks for lunch she tells him to 'bog off' as she is upset about what Audrey has said to her. Nick has something to tell Maria, he tells her 'he is in love with her' (how sweet, bless him!) Nick & Maria had to say 'goodbye' to each other as Nick had a plane to catch back to Canada. He asked Maria to 'come to Canada' & Maria said 'yes!' Nick went off in a taxi & Maria will follow him out there! Maria has sold a lot of her things to buy a plane ticket to get to Canada. Audrey stuck her foot in it by saying 'Nick has a girlfriend in Canada.' Maria was very upset by this, but didn't believe her. Audrey got some pictures of Nick & his girlfriend (Rachel) to show Maria. Maria phoned Nick, but he was out. He rang her back & Maria wanted to know the truth about him & Rachel! Maria got very upset on the phone & put the phone down on Nick & said to Toyah & Fizz 'it is over.' What did he say? When the phone rang again Maria through her bag on the phone & it smashed! What will happen? Nick has arrived back in Weatherfield! Nick has been forgiven by Maria, awh bless its back on! Gail & the rest of the family have come back from the honeymoon & Gail is not pleased that Maria is going to Canada with Nick. Nick had a good at Gail & said 'I've managed the last 3 years without parenting,' I bet that hurt Gail! Gail should just let them get on with whatever they want to do! As Nick & Maria are setting off for the airport, Nick sees Gail & runs over to her. They make up & Nick says 'she's the one!' (meaning Maria) When Nick & Maria check in at the airport, Tyrone calls out to Maria, they leave Nick for a few minutes. Tyrone pours his heart out to Maria, it looks like Maria is going to get back with Tyrone, when Nick says 'they have to go.' Maria & Tyrone hug, meanwhile Nick watches his girl, wondering if he is about to lose her! Then Maria says 'she has to go,' Tyrone looks very upset, while Nick & Maria head off to Canada!
