Vineet Punia
He met with a road accident on Friday 19 Dec 03 while coming back from Gurgaon near Andheria Morh, Delhi. He passed out of School in 1993 and was a fav among teachers, He was very popular and certainly very naughty, even the Principal, Mr Mehta adored him. We were bum chums and I distinctly remember we both used to sit next to the window in Class 12th and we hardly heard what the teachers taught in class coz we were busy admiring 'happenings' outside.
Vineet left school and along with me joined Delhi College of Arts and Commence and within an instant, became popular, so popular that the pretty lasses in college ensured he joined the modelling team of the college.
He was a gem at heart, always there when you needed him and more so always there even when you didn't. Though a big guy, he was gentle in his ways and loved life. He had a 'care two hoots' attitude about life and enjoyed every moment that he shared with us, like they say, God likes to keep wonderful people on earth, and those better than us, he takes them away. We will miss you
Uday Singh
Uday got commissioned into the Para Commandos Special Forces in 1997, All of us who know him remember him as a tough guy back in school as well, however tough Uday was from outside, he was a very soft spoken and decent person, especially when he intereacted with ladies. He was extremely well mannered and loved by all. Uday was in B House and to the best of my knowledge, a house prefect. I remember Uday as a fun loving and very bright person who was always up to challenges in life. be it small school competitions or challenges of life and death. He died in November 2003 while fighting terrorists in the Kashmir valley. He is a Hero and though his loss will never be filled, our hearts swell with pride and we are honoured to be part of the same school that he belonged to.
Hashan Brar
Hashan joined school in 1991, he was from Tagore house, was loved by all....and still is....and that’s the way its always gonna stay.
He was a great friend and a fabulous human being who was cruelly snatched away from us on the 26th of September 1995 in a road accident on his way back from the annual school trek to Dalhousie. We had all been there once earlier as well, little did we know then that the road we travelled on without a care in the world a year back would be the road we would one day wish was never travelled on again.
My finest memories of him were our three inter house tennis matches we played over 3 years I won the last of them and he the first two.... Hashan you will always remain one up on me buddy.
He was an all rounder in the true sense ; be it academics, sports or extra curricular activities. When he passed away he was the school captain, an honour given only to the best and the best he was.... miss you buddy
