I live in a cottage in the
country with my wife (three children flown), and write full-time.
To help explain myself, I make a choice between these 'non-competing' signifiers:
Scotland/Greece, Socialism/Marxism, Melville/Orwell, Lowell/Graham,
Shackleton/Amundsen, Ellen McArthur/ Slocum, Sea/Mountains.
