Rusty lives with a very good friend of mine and her family. Debbie fell in love with Kody the first time she ever saw him and constantly offered to take him home. I said that I would contact Trevor who bred him, and ask if he had anything up there that might be suitable. So off we went to Wem.
We turned up along with Aidan (Debbies youngest child) and saw the bitch that Trevor said that we could meet. She was a little wary of Aidan, so we decided that she wasn't the one. Debbie turned round and saw Rusty in the Kennel just along. It was love at first sight. He was almost the same colour as kody, and just what she wanted. So he came home with us that day. He sat in the back of the car, and licked Aidans head all the way home. Aidan picked his name, and very apt it was too.
Rusty fitted in as soon as he walked through the door. You would never have known that he wasn't with children before she had him. He is loved and adored by them all. He is definitely one of the pack. Their cat however was a different story. As soon as the cat went near him he didn't know what to do. The cat hissed and he stood there and wet himself !!!! not quite the dog chasing the cat scenario. They live along side each other well now, and Rusty plays with the new kitten too.
Rusty is in my name because Debbie won't show him. We were very proud of him when he won his tyro class at his first show. He was also placed at WKC Ch show. He is coming along nicely. He thoroughly enjoyed his stay at WKC. Camping was definitely his thing !!!!.
Here is his pedigree for you to have a look at:-
