baloo's tankbuster and discus page
    baloo's tankbuster page
Hello
i'm baloo and i am an aquatic nutter.  I decided to create this page to introduce the bigger bigger fish and unusual fish that many people are considering too difficult or too big for the aqauarium.  Big and unusual fish can be dangerous and exiting at the same time but there are also many gentle giants i would like to introduce on this page.  The progress will be slow at times but bare with me as i have to work on this in my spare time.  Please check the links as they can provide a lot of information and help

German genius
I think this tank by heiko bleher comes close to what a discus habitat should look like.  I can picture discus, instead of the angelfish. Also imagine a large arowana patrolling the surface of this huge tank and some catfish on the bottom  amongst the leaves. Also it would be a great setup for many of the large cichlids.
I think the' flooded forest' would be a great name for a simular setup.  To me, this tank is a great inspiration.  Should you ever come across this page heiko "tank you very much"...dankeschoen!
