At last we have raised the £30,000 necessary to equip our Hastings with a video and audio set-up which will enable visitors to the Allied Military Museum, Berlin to experience authentic pictures and sound-tracks of the Berlin Air Lift in which this historic aircraft took part. It is hoped that an official ceremony marking the inauguration of the facilites will take place during our next Berlin reunion at the end of March, 2003. Several important dignitaries from the British and German Governments, from the RAF and the Luftwaffe and the British Ambassador are to be invited to attend the ceremony which will be extensively covered by the Press and will establish our Association firmly in the public domain. Perhaps the RAF Authorities at MOD will then condescend to acknowledge our correspondence and list us as a recognised link, as requested on two previous occasions.

BERLIN 2003

As previously announced our super-duper Berlin 2003 Reunion will take place from 27th. March - 1st. April, 2003. As usual a full programme of events has been arranged with much of interest to suit all participating Association Members. It's not too late to book but from 1st. October, 2002 bookings will be taken from non-members. Get in quickly - there are only a few places left.
