INFORMATION
THE AIM OF CALDICOT BOWLS CLUB IS TO ENCOURAGE THE PLAYING AND ENJOYMENT OF LAWN BOWLS LOCALLY
The club was founded in 1953. Our green is close to the town centre in the King George playing fields.
There are both mens and ladies sections. There are 70 men and 32 lady members.
Mens teams currently play in Div II of the MBA and Div I of the GBL leagues.Fixtures are mostly at weekends. The over 60's run two teams playing mostly on Tuesday afternoons.
Ladies play on tyuesday afternoons in the South Wales and Monmouthshire division and friendly fixtures on thursday afternoons.
Mixed friendly fixtures are played throughout the season.
How to find us
Travel to Caldicot ob the B4245. At the fraffic light junction with Station Road turn into Newport Road towards the town centre. Pass the Good Measure pub and turn into the playing fields on the left where there is parking. The entrance to the green is close to the childrens play area.
Coaching
The club has five qualified coaches who are available by arrangement to give instruction and advice to potential and club members.
