Worship

Worship is at the heart of our Church's life. Services are according to a "traditional" Church of Scotland style and last approximately 1 hour. Please come and join us - you are very welcome. Christians of all denominations are very welcome. If you are not a member of the Church, you are also very welcome to come and explore the Christian faith with us. A Sunday School for children meets during local primary school term times (and "Family Services" for all ages take place, usually on the third Sunday of the month). Click here to find more about what we believe.

Communion services

At 11am at Ceres Church on the first Sundays of March and October, plus the annual "long table" service on the third Sunday of June.
At 9.45am at Springfield Church on the first Sundays of May and November, also at 6.30pm on Maundy Thursday.

Baptisms, weddings and funerals by arrangement with the minister.

For young people

There is a Sunday School at both Ceres and at Springfield for children aged 3-11. The Sunday School meets during primary school term times.

There are Scouts, Cubs, Beavers, Brownies and Rainbows based in Ceres. These organisations have close links with the Church.

Youth activities for teenagers are run by the Church's own youth worker - Neil McGilligan. Contact Neil on 0776 561 7285 for more information. We are now planning to build a skateboard park in Ceres.

More activities

The Ceres Guild - The Springfield Guild - The Ceres Young Women's Group - Cupar Credit Union (Springfield Church Hall on Wednesday evenings) - The Craft Circle - Mothers & Toddlers Group (Springfield Church Hall)

Our twin church

We are "twinned" with Incarnation Church, Newport, Pennsylvania, USA. (Their address is PO Box 68, Newport, PA17074, USA.) Incarnation Church is part of the United Church of Christ. We are looking forward to welcoming the Rev A O McGill and members of his congregation to Scotland in June 2002.
