I keep and breed serama bantams as a hobby and as pets. These are all kept in a city garden in Birmingham Uk. I do not breed vaste numbers as it is a hobby but what I do breed are high quality good birds that display merits of their breeds. In serama we have one of the Uks longest established flocks and are breeding for malaysian type, size and charactor. We also keep a few runner ducks and transylvanian naked necks as pets. I sometimes have spare stock for sale. if so it will be listed at the bottom of the page.

Malaysian Serama are one of the newest breed of bantams in the Uk. they are truelly tiny perfect chickens and the smallest breed in the World. One of their features is that the cockerels crow is nothing like as loud as that of a normal cock making them far more suitable for urban chicken keepers. ( mine are not quite as loud as a large fowl hen laying an egg) they have a wonderful upright stance quite unlike anything else, chatter in squeaks and chirps to each other and are friendly gentle little birds that are easily tamed. make delightful pets.see links below to view some of our breeding flock and chicks.
what makes them so special?
their wonderful sharp unique outline. so proud, so confident and so different from any other breed.
their incredible tiny size and quiet voices with fiesty sparky charactor making them ideal for city dwellers as well as more rustic homes.
their multicoloured flocks - with over 1500 recorded colours so far! -such a unique feature and gift the Malaysian breeders gave us by making them a none colour bred breed. makes each bird a unique bright jewel different to all others. no matter how pretty the colour it loses its lustre when all the flock shares it. we are very lucky in having a breed where black gleams beetle shine next to icy white among milliefleur and golden buff. long may it continue.
