Sun Bears
Smallest of bears, sun bears are in the trees much of the time. They tear into rotten wood with their strong claws, licking up insects with that long tongue. They like fruit, honey, and bees too!
Mandrills are the largest monkeys. The males have faces and rears colored red and blue, or even purple.
Bengal Tigers in the forests of India, male and female tigers live apart. Maybe they catch more deer that way. In zoos they get along fine together. (Most cats hate the water, but not tigers!)
Ostrich this bird is taller than a grown man. It can run faster than a horse. but it can't fly at all! It only has two toes.
Raccoon Dogs the endangered Japanese raccoon dog has spread to many other parts of Asia and Europe, taken there for their fur. They are the only dog that hibernates in the cold northern winters.
