I will be updating this site until June 2002 – but then it will be RIP as 2002 is the last presentation year of A420.
But as Tony Aldgate points out at the end of the Project and TMA Guide, if you have completed your BA(Hons) you can consider going on to do the
MA A821 –British Cinema History 1930-1995
You will have a head start as one TMA is just on the period and issues covered here! You will need to do a Foundation course first – the Popular Culture one which has a film element – or the History one. See the OU prospectus
(if you don't, remember A821 students will be looking for A420 Course Materials
so if you want to sell yours second hand advertise in Sesame)
But also there is the new AA310 Film and Television History, which is a full 60-credit course due to start in February 2003.
So I hope you enjoy A420 and that you decide to Carry On with your studies!
