Internet Sites

Internet Movie Data Base is probably the best online database on film. However it is most reliable for recent US films where you'll find links to reviews and videoclips - not so hot for our period!.

It's sponsored by Amazon so it lists easy to buy options, and it's useful to check if a video/DVD is available.  If you are truly desperate you can order the USA copy if the UK one is not listed, but check if your VCR can cope with NTSC format - all newer ones can. Bit more expensive though and mail takes longer! First check if anyone else has it - see OUSA A420 conference

Do try the 'more searches/power search'
