Match Day Draw
The winning ticket for the Barnet game was ticket number 8007. The prize of £140.00 was claimed by a home supporter from The South Stand.
Many thanks to all those who bought tickets for the games so far this season. If you didn't why not?!! The prize is 50/50 of money raised so half goes to the club and you could win the other half! The more tickets sold the higher the prize and the higher the money raised for the club so please buy a ticket - they're only 50p!

Boro Mascot Stranded
The Farnborough Town mascot, Boro Bug, had intended to travel to The Shay for this weekend's fixture but his driver was taken ill at short notice leaving Boro Bug without transport. The illness is not thought to be serious and everyone at The Shay would like to pass on wishes for a speedy recovery.

Ladbrokes British Mascot Grand National
The 5th British Mascot Grand National took place at Huntingdon Racecourse on Sunday September 28th and was won for the second year running by Chaddy The Owl from Oldham Athletic. Freddy finished further down the field after being caught in the headlights of a rather friendly young lady running naked towards him!

Freddy joins the cast of Emmerdale - Exclusive!
|
|
|

|
|
Britain's top furry light entertainer joined forces with other football mascots at Collingham FC, near Newark, on Sunday August 31st for a charity football match. The game was between a local All Stars XI and stars from the cast of Emmerdale.
The mascots, who took part in a game prior to the main match, included Poacher The Imp of Lincoln City, York City mascot Yorkie The Lion, Bradford City's City Gent and Captain Blade from Sheffield United.

Freddy's team won the mascot game 4-3 with the pick of the goals being Freddy's unbelievable thundering shot from one end of the pitch to the other!
The result of the Emmerdale game is unknown as the mascots were all too busy
downing liquid refreshment in the bar by the time it ended! It is thought Emmerdale won 6-2. Members of the Emmerdale team were Ben Freeman (Scott Windsor),
Kelvin Fletcher (Andy Sugden) and James Hooton (Sam Dingle) amongst others.
The mascots lined up with both teams for team photos which will be available shortly.

The picture on the right was done by Holly Ingle (in the photo with Freddy) who is 4 years old and lives in Stainland, Halifax. Looking at how the sun is shining it must have been during the Gravesend & Northfleet game! Many thanks Holly for a great picture. I can see how much hard work went into it!
