Freshfields Animal Sanctuary from Porthmadog (13 miles)

Follow A487 as for Caernarfon: left in Tremadoc, through Penmorfa, by-pass Garndolbenmaen, Pass 'The Goat' then on through Bryncir and PantGlas. After about a further mile the sign as shown here, indicates the point at which the route leaves the main road and enters the map shown below.

After a quarter of a mile, at the T junction turn left and pass through Nasareth. Carry on to the right turn indicated 'Nebo' (the short cut indicated on the map is a 'No entry')

The next junction is marked by a house at a fork as seen in this picture. Fork right here and a few hundred yards on the right is the entrance.
