Up the Junction !
The increased space available in our present clubroom, enabled the double O group to create a realy impressive layout. Loosely based on the station and junction at nearby Water Orton, plenty of operating scope is on offer. The recent addition of a continuous tram line has provided the civil engineering department with plenty of work - when not tackling other scales & gauges within the club.

George Street
A small dedicated band of members are also involved in the construction of a new layout. This has been designed from the start as a modern image layout and will incorporate many innovative ideas and should be operational for the July 2006 Open Day.

Narrow Gauge
Plans for a narrow gauge layout, have been abandoned and the opportunity taken to use the available space, to construct a 2mm layout, following continental practice. This is a double 'first' for club and is now nearing completion - with planned exhibition showings to follow shortly. Watch this space for further news!
