Hamstreet in Photographs Part 2
Hamstreet, Kent in Photographs

Whilst the buildings in Warehorne Road and the Street are very old, virtually all of the buildings on the east side of the village are twentieth century. There are still some very attractive areas here, as the two pictures below will show. Apologies to the people I've picked up!
Below: Marsh Road
Right: Hamstreet Woods are well worth a visit at any time of year. Here they are at the height of summer.

Below: These pictures show the 1946-built 'Green Goddess' passing through Hamstreet.
Finally, here are two views of the village taken along the footpath to Warehorne. New homes are currently being built on the field shown in the first picture. This is not necessarily a bad thing as a number of the houses will serve 'local needs'. A donation is also being made to the Sports and Leisure Association.

You will find more pictures  of Hamstreet and the surrounding area on the B2067 and A2070 sites, which feature two very different road journeys.
