Narrow Beam Dutch Barge "IDLE WOMEN".
Built by Ledgard Bridge Boat Company in 2002.
Idle Women is 58 feet long, narrow beam and has accessed all waterways on the system, (including the Ripon Canal).
She is 4 berth with another occasional double. Accommodation is in a double front cabin and a further double cabin with ensuite behind the wheelhouse. The occasional accommodation is by a double bed settee in the main living area.
Idle Women is powered by a 45hp Barrus Shires engine which is big enough to cope with rivers tidal or otherwise.
At present she is moored at Sileby Marine on the River Soar.
