Boatswain was bred by Melanie Maskell, Trudos Rottweilers in South Wales.
Like most Rottweilers, he is a calm, even-tempered dog, a pleasant contrast to the cattle dogs. I'd hoped to work him, but things haven't quite worked out, possibly due to my slippery wooden floors, so Bo is more than happy to relax into the role of resident licker! He has his KC Puppy Foundation, Bronze and Silver Good Citizen awards, and may 'go for Gold' at some point - perversely, he's such a nice boy, I need to get motivated to take him to training....
