About Kayanarra
I have owned dogs for approximately 15 years. I have had bearded collies for about 10 of them.
My first Beardie "Suzi" (Beardielea Bouzy Babushka at Kayanarra), was rehomed to me by her breeders, Michelle & Richard Heaton, when she was almost 2 years old. Suzi had NEVER been in a show ring, but after going to a few exemption shows, I was "talked" into showing her at Open shows. She won her class at her first show, and the rest as they say is history. We lost Suzi to throat cancer last year, this was a very difficult time.
Max, my cross GSD/Border Collie, we lost in 2001. He was a great companion to my Beardies, and loved going to exemption shows.
I am now in partnership with all my Beardies, with Dr Peter & Mrs Yvonne Fox (Bushblades).

Gina (Bushblades Dawn Sky, JW) lives with Peter & Yvonne, but I train and show her. She has done quite well in the ring, gaining her Junior Warrant and a few Res' Best in Shows. Also including a Best Puppy in Show. (to go to her page just click on her photo).

Kira (Bushblades Tranquil Skies,JW), has had a wonderful year. She lives with us here at Kayanarra, but is in partnership with Peter and Yvonne. By the age of 10 months she had already achieved a Best Puppy In Show, a Junior Warrant and a Res CC !!!!!!!!! Who could ask for more. (to go to her page just click on her photo).

I have raised a lot of money ( in excess of £3,000 ) for dog related charities in the past, by organising large scale Exemption Shows.
I also judge Bearded Collies, and I am on the "B" list for the following clubs -
The Bearded Collie Club, Eastern Bearded Collie Club, Midshires Bearded Collie Club, Southern Counties Bearded Collie Club and the North Of England Bearded Collie Club.
