Gospel Plays and Liturgy
About this site

Moving to new website soon!

My name is Karen and I am a part-time teacher and RE Coordinator at St Edwards Catholic Primary School in Swadlincote in the Diocese of Nottingham. I am also a catechist for First Communion and Confirmation at St Peter and Pauls Catholic Church for which I organise a Mass prepared by young people once a month. For this Mass I have spent almost 3 years writing and adapting plays to be performed by the children after the Gospel. This web site makes it possible for me to share those with you. As RE Coordinator I have also put together various Liturgies for school which teachers or catechists amongst you might like to use or adapt.

NEW - Powerpoint presentations for School Masses and Liturgies are all available  to download on line on our school website (see links below). Click on staff - online resources. Scroll down to RE and click on online resources.
If you use any of the presentations I would love to know how they went.

Gospel Plays
Most of the plays only involve a small group of children and can be performed around the lectern.
Most of the plays have been written for a particular Gospel reading.

Click on the name of the play to be taken to the script.
