Come to me first as words
Fill my thoughts with beautiful pictures
Of Life and Love
beauty and fulfillment
And just for a moment
Make me forget it's just a poem.

Welcome To our Pages
Bluebell Wood
A carpet of spring's wonder
Stretches before me
Taking me to a different life
When sandalled feet ran
And played among the trees
Safe beneath their comforting arms.
Carefree and wild
Like the flowers around me,
Memories of endless days
Fill my mind
As the nodding heads of brilliant blue
Greet me like an old friend.
My life has changed in many ways
Since first I came to this place,
Beauty such as this
Never changes.

SUNSET
Sand still warm from the days sun
Flows from our fingers
Gazing at the ocean
Knowing this moment will stay in our hearts,
Silence, but for the gentle
lapping of the waves upon the shore
and the rustling of the trees.
We don't need words, you and I,
we are lost in this moment.
wanting it to last forever,
but knowing it soon will end.
The sky is suddenly aflame
and our world is bathed in gold,
the ocean turns crimson and we are mesmerised.
We see the love in the others eyes
shining like flames in the fading sun
and know this is not the end of our day
but the beginning of our lives.
