All about me
For the last 30 years I have been cooking around the world in such places as the Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky, Amsterdam (five star), and was Executive Head Chef of The Armoury in Hamilton, Bermuda.   In 1983 I returned to the United States and worked for eleven years in  Washington DC.   During that time I held the position of Sous Chef at the Hay Adams & Jefferson hotels.

I've had the good fortune to cook for some important people during my career including, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, President Bush, President Reagan, former President Nixon, former Vice-President Mondale, Senator E. Kennedy, Ethel Kennedy, Alexander Haig, Admiral Crowe (former US Ambassador to Britain) also many  famous movie stars including...Michelle Pfeiffer, Paul Newman, Linda Carter, Omar Sheriff, and TV personalities such as Larry King.

I'm also an experienced cooking demonstrator having performed in front of large audiences at food shows both sides of the Atlantic including the BBC Good Food Show (NEC), The Homes & Garden Show(NEC),  and The Total Sandwich Show at Olympia in London.   I've worked for companies including, Asda, Heinz, Somerfield, Pork Farm Bowyer's & Knorr, doing cooking demonstrations.

I had done a couple of guest appearences for cooking shows in the USA and would love a chance to do more.

I've been written about in both newspapers & magazines in England, USA, Bermuda and Holland.  For the last 2.5 years I have been writing a weekly recipe column for the Birmingham Sunday Mercury, which has an estimated readership of 500,000.   I'm currently writing my first  cook book, and am really enjoying this new side of my career.

In 2004 I became a member of the Guild of Food Writers (members include Raymond Blanc, Nigella Lawson, Anthony Worrall Thompson & Rick Stein.)

I'm also a member of the British Culinary Federation which is a professional association for chefs.

When time permits I give cooking lessions at several local schools because I believe basic cooking skills should be taught at school.
