ITV WALES NEWS PROGRAMME, WALES TONIGHT AND
CARRIAGE DRIVING
Following huge press publicity generated within North East Wales about carriage driving, ITV Wales spent five hours filming Carriage Driving today in Bwlchgwyn Wrexham County and Coed Llandegla Denbighshire.
The special feature was transmitted all over Wales, on ITV One at 18.20 hrs on Wednesday February 20th.
Itvs key North Wales presenter Ian Lang, was shown how to hold the reins correctly by using the reining machine, harnessing up Gorsehill Jenga by AC Janet Williams and AAC Medina Dicks. Ian then went for a drive to Coed Llandegla Forest with Medina and on the forest carriage trials he was allowed to drive Jenga but for safety AAC Medina ensured that there were two sets of reins.
When the filming was been made the cameraman at time had the camera right up against the pony, through his front legs for the very close shots and was also seen lying at the side of the trails and what did Jenga do just took it in his stride.
