The first of the indoor competitions, held on Saturday 17th November at Huntersgate, Byley, Nr holmes Chapel was a great success. New and old hands alike had a really fun day. A big thank you to the organisers Lesley and Andrew and Colin Walmsley on his brilliantly constructed obstacles and a big well done to all the competitors. This competiton saw new people and horses competitng for the first time and some highly creditable performances were turned in.
Results
Novice Horse: 1st Tracy Harrison, 2nd Martin Brassington, 3rd Sally Massey,
4th Junior competitor Michael Hodgson, 5th Louise Hodgson ( Michaels Mum)
Novice Pony: 1st Joanne Thomas, 2nd Margaret Ferne, 3rd Linda Rose
Open Pony: 1st Carol Fearnley, 2nd Colin Walmsley, 3rd Dawn O'Donnell
Pony Pair: 1st Graham Hudson.
The indoor competions will be held on the following dates: Dec 9th, Jan 26th, Feb 23rd, March 15th starting at 10am
It is fun and a great way to spend the day and keep your horse / pony fit and occupied over the winter months, thought about giving it a go but never know where to start, why not come along to watch and talk to the organisors and competitors to find out more.
