The reason for creating this website is quite simple, after hours surfing every search engine imaginable it became clear that Milton Keynes was just about the only speedway team ( current or not ) that did not have a single website !.

Never having even contemplated attempting such a task and being absolutely useless with a P. C. ( well, i am over 40 ! ) i enlisted the help of my son and this is the result.

It's not mean't to be professional, it's not mean't to make money ( well, it didn't cost me anything to build ).

We have done it simply to share with the 1000's of other regular Knights fans some of the photo's i took during the early years (together with some i have 'accumulated') in the hope that they might jog a few memories about the great times we spent on tuesday evenings at Groveway during the early years, (1978-82)

To supporters of other teams who might be looking in, at least we can now prove that the Milton Keynes Knights are not just a figment of the imaginations of people who are already ridiculed for having a town only famous for a herd of concrete cows and more roundabouts than a fairground factory.

You will notice that some riders have their own Galleries and i make no apologies for this, as they were the ones that i was fortunate enough to know and proud to help in the pits.

Andy Hibbs, Bert Harkins and Mark Astley - Thanks for making a young fan's teenage years so enjoyable and my dreams become reality, i enjoyed every second, (with the possible exception of the evening in Newcastle Royal Infirmary after Andy's crash !).

I have included some photo's of Brett Alderton who died so young - he will always have a place in the hearts of Knights supporters .
