Holly Marie Combs was born on December 3rd 1973 in San Diego. When she was 8 she moved with her mother to New York. There she studied acting at the "Professional Children School", to follow her mothers footsteps.
Holly begun her TV career aged 10, working on television commercials. Her first movie role was in "Sweet Hearts Dance" with Don Johnson and Susan Sarandon.
In 1989 she played propositioned by Tom Cruise in the movie "Born on the Fourth of July". As an 18 year old everyone knows Holly from her role as "Kimberly Brooks" on TV series "Picket Fences". In between the four years of acting as "Kimberly", she has also played in movies like "A Perfect Stranger", "A Reason To Believe", "Sins Of Silence", "Daughters" and "Love's Deadly Triangle".
1993 she met Brian "Bugsy" Smith in Las Vegas and married him only 8 Days later. Their Marriage lasted 4 Years. At the moment she's engaged with the Elementary School teacher Storm Lyndon who she met in an vacation at Mexico where she was with her colleague and best friend Shannen Doherty.
In 1998 she was offered the role of the middle sister Piper Halliwell in Aaron Spelling's drama-mystery-series "Charmed". She decided to take it, because she liked the script. Holly about her Role as Piper: "Piper is so much more unreliable than me, mostly because she overreacts and is worrisome. She's always neurotic and always high-strung. I just don't have the
energy to be like her all the time."
Animal lover Holly owns thirteen pets: Three dogs named Travis (a German Shepherd), Hugo and Lola (which she got from Alyssas mom), two cats (Blue and Selena), four lovebirds (two of it named Lollipop and Flower), her beloved horses Jesse and Jake and two physical disabled hamsters. Holly: "One has only 3 legs and the other is really fat." Besides Holly loves
gardening.
