Hi! I'm Paul Harrison from Cheshire, England. In November 2001 I was forced to take medical retirement due to an on-duty injury. I was a 28 year veteran of law enforcement and ended my career as a supervisor in a medium to long term prison here in England.
Since 1973 I have been a collector of Southern California Police badges and patches (with a particular interest in Beverly Hills PD), am member #117 of PICA GB and my collection has been featured many times over the years in Police Collectors News.
My greatest collecting achievement has been to obtain a breast badge from EVERY municipal Police Department which EVER existed in Los Angeles County (including defuncts such as Avalon PD, Bell-Cudahy, Compton PD, Eagle Rock PD, Hawaiian Gardens PD, Lynwood PD, Ocean Park PD and Venice PD) and a collection of Beverly Hills PD items which I believe to be second only to the Beverly Hills Police Department's own collection.
