Daytime Powerstation to the left, with the
Coastguard
Station in the centre and the
causeway
crossing to the
right. The Arnish Lighthouse can be discerned to the right of centre of
the picture,
and the Arnish Fabrication Yard far right. Boats may be seen entering
(moving to right) and leaving
the harbour.
The ferry may be discerned at 07.00, 13.00, 13.45 and 20.00 hours. MV
Muirneag sails at 23.30 and 08.00 hours. Neither on Sunday.
What
do you see?
Nighttime The
lights of the coastguard station are visible in the middle. The
streetlights on the causeway are within view. Their light is reflected
in the water of the basin if the tide is in. To the left of the
first light (counting from the CG station) blinks the red light of
the beacon; to the left of the second light the intermittent blink
of the lighthouse comes out.
