I'm really pleased to say that as of today the new Website is up and running.
Here are some details for you, along with a few other items. We will send these details out again in a month so apologies in advance for the efficient amongst you.

1. As of 1st March 2005 the name of the organisation is changing from Wiltshire Traditions to Wiltshire Folk Arts. This will be a county wide organisation and will be involved with all elements of Folk arts in Wiltshire. Some of the aims and objectives of Wiltshire Folk Arts can be found on the web site and soon you will receive a newsletter with some additional papers outlining what we intend to do in Wiltshire. The Web address is www.wiltshirefolkarts.org.uk

3. The Web site !
This has been coming for an awfully long time and even now it's operational there are still a lot of holes to fill.
However please do drop in to www.wiltshirefolkarts.org.uk and if you have contacts, names of useful people, organisations, artists, bands and anything else that would be useful , etc. please please send us an email with as much information as you can, particularly any web and email information and we'll contact them for permission to put them up on the web.
As you will no doubt see it is full of holes and some of the links are notworking yet but given a few weeks and a following wind we will fill all the holes in and be up and running at full power.
We are really excited about the concept of having an extensive web site for Wiltshire Folk Arts, in all it's forms and will endeavour to make it as much of a site that you want to see and use, so send in that stuff and we'll do our best to get folk in Wiltshire seriously put on the map.
I'd like to say a couple of thank you's at this point. Firstly to Gill for her support in this endeavour, to Jack Iason for his skills in teaching us the basics on web site building, to my brother Pete for further assistance on the web site and many others having to put up with me prattling on about it all.
