All About Tico
Tico was born in July 1993,He was given to us by some friends who had Tico dumped on their doorstep(along with his brother Sandy).He was Two months old when he came to live with us.Tico is named after the drummer from Bon Jovi !
Tico means:Fortunate,happy,lucky and blessed.

Tico's Health
8/02/2005 Yesterday Tico was diagnosed with a lump in his stomach.I want to use this webpage to document Tico's life and fight against ill health and to use it to show what a loving,caring,affectionate and sometimes awkward little chap Tico can be!
I'll add new pictures and stories as often as possible.Come on Tico you can do it!!!!!!

Tico died after a courageous fight with a stomach tumour.
He was a massive part of our lives and everyone who met him thought he was wonderful.I can't beleive he's gone.
Tico we will never stop loving you and will never forget you. R.I.P. my friend.

Tico the hunter
Tico was sitting on the shed roof next door one summer when he decided to chase some birds sitting on the conifer,He jumped after about five minutes of lining up his aim,bird flew away and Tico slid straight down taking half the tree with him!He has never been a good hunter!

Tico's Christmas dinner 2004
Last Christmas as we sat down to eat,Tico leapt onto the chair at the head of the table.Rachel put some turkey on the arm of the chair and Tico tucked in.We thought it quite amusing at the time but now as it was our last Christmas together it makes me smile and is a memory I cherish!

Tico's Favourite Toys
Over the years Tico has had loads of favourite things to do.He had a toy which came to be known as "Acid Fish".one of those weird looking cats toys that you dangle from a line and let them chase.God knows why it was called that but it seemed funny at the time!
Tico also loves catnip mice,plastic rings from milk cartons and anything he can dig his claws into! When Tico was a kitten he liked to attack toes sticking out from under the duvet.Tico loves his catnip and quite often will wrestle with a catnip mouse and then chill out for a while.

Tico and the washing machine
The day I got Tico he was vey nervous when we got back to our flat,Tico decided to hide behind the washing machine! I tipped it forward trying to reach him but he went underneath leaving me holding it up and not being able to put it down,I could not reach the phone in the lounge and these were the days before eveybody had mobiles.
Eventualy after a fair amount of time and considerable arm ache and some help from our friend Stu,Tico wandered out and hid behind the chair in the lounge.I was pretty relieved that I did not squash him!

Tico and the kitchen door blind
When Tico was a kitten he used to climb up the bamboo blind which covered our kitchen door and sit on the top of it! Only problem was he could not work out how to get down again
I would have to either lift him down or stand underneath and let him jump onto my shoulders.
