Book one, Deus Encarmine, is the first novel in a duology plunging the Blood Angels into a religious civil war that threatens to tear the chapter apart.

DEUS ENCARMINE

On the remote war-grave world of Cybele, the superhuman warriors of the Blood Angels Space Marines fight a losing battle against their most bitter enemies, the forces of Chaos. When battle-brother Arkio leads a glorious counter-attack that has the enemy reeling, there is talk among the faithful that this is a holy sign. Is Arkio blessed by the spirit of the Blood Angels Primarch, the Lord Sanguinius?

However, events soon begin to spiral out of control as the Chaos Marines of the Word Bearer Chapter reveal a nightmarish plot; only one man, Arkio's kinsman Rafen, can uncover the truth - and if he fails, the Blood Angels may face damnation!

Has the Angel Encarmine truly returned, or is a darker conspiracy at work? For two men, brothers by blood and battle-brothers by duty, the answer may tear the Blood Angels apart!
