Annual Club Competition

Bradwell Trampoline Club holds a annual competition to encourage all of the members to participate at some level. Alongside this we also compete in local, regional and national competitions bringing home many medals!

Our first annual competition was held last year, 2001 in June and proved to be a huge success. Our youngest competitor was five year old Sam Bedford who successfully completed routine B after only five months of trampolining!!!!

Sam was presented with a special trophy for her success and was featured in the local newspaper, since then Sam has successfully completed the set schools routine and now trains twice a week.
Sam is pictured below with her trophy alongside coaches Diane and Louise.
This years annual competition is being held on Sunday, 28th of April at Bradwell and we hope to have over 90 bouncers competiting.

Last year was a huge success for Bradwell T.C. with two grade 1 qualifiers, four grade 2 qualifiers, two grade 3 qualifiers and three new entries into the club!

Lani Dacey and Sara Fowell both qualified to compete in grade 1 competitions in April and October, 2001 respectively, however Lani unfortunately broke her arm and was unable to return to trampolining until August missing her Nationals in June. Lani later re-qualified to compete in grade 1 in October and now has her sights set on the 2002 Nationals.
Sara only started trampolining two years ago, 2000, and has since qualified through each grade up to grade 1. She now hopes to perfect her routine and maintain her grade 1 status this year.

Jessica Barnett qualified through to grade 2 in April last year, followed by Laura McMahon in June and then Leigh Docksey and Rebecca Broad in October. Laura unfortunatley narrowly missed out on her maintainer mark in October and went back down to grade 3 but she hopes to re-qualify shortly.

In June Louise Finney qualified through to her grade 3 standard shortly followed by Lisa Broad in October, both girls hope to qualify through to grade 2 status later this year.

2001 was also when Samantha Davies, Nicola McMahon and Claire Thomas started competing for the club, but due to an injury Nicola had to stop trampolining for a few months but successfully returned in September and is now training three times a week.
