On December 1st the Staffordshire schools championships were held at Fenton Manor leisure centre, now home to our trampoline club. The club had entered over 80 competitors with many of them bouncing for the first time.
Following on from last years success we were once again hoping to maintain many of the titles that the bouncers from our club had previously attained. This year it was however decided to include an under 9 section due to the huge number of under 9 bouncers!
The day was a marvellous success despite disruption in preperation due to questions over insurance!
Many of our bouncers did extremely well and in total we achieved:
5 TEAM golds, 1 silver and 1 bronze, and
9 INDIVIDUAL golds, 10 silver and 9 bronze.
It was a marvellous result leaving both parents coaches and bouncer very proud.
The highest score of the day in the open section was obtained by Lani Dacey (under 13 girls) with a total of 60.4 - tariff 7.0. In the closed catergory the highest score was made by Stephanie Lloyd (under 15 girls) with a score of 53.3 - tariff 2.4.
