LINK-UP Group-SarahLou Green
Link-up is a new group and eventually, hopefully, community, designed to facilitate contact between members of society who most need friendship and support, such as single parents and divorced or professional people, based in Buckinghamshire.
It is Not a dating agency.
Are you alone for any reason? I have started a new group and hope to be able to connect people with those in their area. Eventually I would like to have one facilitator in each area and welcome volunteers for this.
Group Aims
I am a single parent and have a quite active social life, however I have friends who find themselves unable to get out as much as they would like, and some with very little support, so to this end I would love to hear from elders who would like to befriend and offer support to young, often quite vulnerable families.
I also have a lot of professional friends who have found they have no-one to link-up with to go out, because their friends are in couples.
I know there must be lots of people out there who, for one reason or another,
find the reality of modern day community a mythical idea, rather than a tangible commodity.
So if for whatever reason you feel isolated, or you have the time to spare to help, if you are a family looking for support or an elder with empty nest syndrome, please contact me. Hopefully we can really put the spirit back into community.
