LOTR - Bag End Inn: Isengard

Fortress built by Gondor. Isengard consisted of a natural circular stone wall surrounding a broad plain, in the centre of which was the tower of Orthanc. Isengard had only one gate, which faced south. In the year 2759 with the permission of Beren of Gondor, Saruman began to live in Isengard, and in 2963 he took it as his own and began to fortify it, replacing it`s grass and trees with stone and machinery. There he housed Orcs, men, and wolves (worg`s) until Isengard was attacked and demolished by the Ent`s. Also called the Ring of Isengard.
