The Designer: Andy Moore has thrashed numerous conventional guitars, playing lead guitar for a number of bands since 1969. He has also been a full time woodcarver in the Arts & crafts world since 1976.
A combination of such occupations produces a natural empathy within the designer for a guitarist's requirements.
The Raw Materials: The hardest of hardwoods and the most beautiful are selected. The harder the wood, the greater the resonant qualities of your guitar. A perfect example of this can be seen with the FENDER STRAT where solid ASH was used until 1956 when a switch was made to ALDER. The result being a less fuller , richer sound. ( Ash has since been reintroduced, especially on the natural- wood-finish models....therefore, a better buy)
All Sharkattack models are clear-finished to reveal and enhance the natural grain and beauty of the timber. A minimum of 8 coats of cellulose is used to give maximum protection.
Originality: Yes, it's difficult to find ways of standing out from
the mundane today, so do you really want to hold yet another
variation of the Strat design???
