Untitled Poem 1
When you left, you took away everything that I knew,
Left me with nothing whilst you went out and had your fun.
Waking up next to a different girl each morning,
Feeling no guilt over what you'd done,
So easily cast aside every feeling, every memory we had ever shared.
Whilst I cried my heart out over you.

But six months later on and you're standing at my door again,
You tell me you've come to realise what I really mean to you,
But I've given you as many second chances as I have the strength to give,
Nothing will ever erase the hurt you put me through.
Trust cannot be restored and now it's time to break the chain.
I'd rather live with the pain of losing you now,
Than suffer the pain of knowing you'll again be untrue.
