If you wish to come to our Bandroom, Please follow the map and instructions below.
Contrary to popular belief in Yorkshire
The Stanley Newmarket Colliery Band is still alive and kicking.
Although forced to withdraw from the contest field due to circumstances beyond our control, we have fulfilled a full list of summer engagements.
Our next step is to try and attract a few Cornet and Trombone players. Rehearsals are being held on a Monday and most Wednesday evenings in a purpose built bandroom in Gawthorpe (see map and directions below), from 7,30 pm to approx 9 pm.
Players of all standards and ages will be made most welcome.
