Enya my blue tortie Burmese has been
mated with a beautiful brown boy Janzanco Guy Fawkes. Her kittens are due
on or around 16th Feb. I wonder how many kittens she will produce? |

Enya surprised me by starting first stage of labour
at 7pm on Valentine's night and then delivering 6 beautiful kittens
between 3.30 and 5.00am on Tuesday morning. She is proving to be an
excellent mum and loves them dearly. I think we have 2 girls one brown,
one blue tortie, one brown boy, one choc boy and possibly 2 red boys. Time
will tell as its early days yet :-))

The kittens are doing very well. Enya is proving to
be an excellent mum and is obviously feeding them well as they are
becoming lovely fat bundles of fur. They are very vigorous and move around
the pen very efficiently. When mum comes to me for a cuddle they just lay
there content and happy.

The kittens are still developing well. Their colours
are becoming more obvious and they are still sweet and contented. Enya is
an excellent mum!

The kittens are 2 weeks old today and becoming very
mischievous. They love play fighting with each other and turn over to have
their tummies tickled. They are developing wonderful temperaments which is
not to be wondered at as Mum and Dad have the sweetest natures too. They
are getting more and more adventurous.

They are growing fast now and there is often a fight
at the milk bar to see who can get the best teat. They really battle it
out with their little sharp claws. I will have to give their claws their
first trim soon. This will be as much for mum's sake as for the kits. They
are developing lovely sleek coats until they have some rough and tumble
and then anything goes! They can look like they've been pulled through a
hedge backwards :-)

The kits are 3 weeks old now. I'm pretty sure on the
colours now apart from little choc boy who looks as though he might turn
out to be be blue. That's him scurrying out of the photo. I think the only
time I'm going to be able to get a photo of them altogether is when
they're asleep! They are so funny to watch now as they run about (in a
wobbly fashion) and love to play fight. Mum's tail has become an
interesting toy to play with. I've had to put the front on the kitten pen
now as the brave brown boy has already tried to climb out. They're a bit
too young to go exploring yet!

This is probably the last time I will get them all
together! They are so lively when they are awake that it is very difficult
to photograph them. They have moved out of the kitten pen and like
to sleep on the 2 pillows I usually sit on on the floor. Mum thinks its a
nice place to feed them too. You can really tell their colours from this
snap. clockwise from top left we have brown tortie girl, brown boy, choc
boy, blue tortie girl and the 2 cream boys.

My goodness me! The kittens are into everything.
They've discovered that they like sleeping in the moonshell as it is so
warm and cosy. They love my feet, especially the bright nail varnish on
the toes. They especially like the pyramid to play in. Little brown boy is
getting ready to pounce on little choc boy. I've got their pedigree names
sorted but haven't given them pet names yet. I like their prospective new
owners to have the choice of them :-)) They are eating solids really well.
They like Whiskas tinned kitten food at the moment and love cooked fish
and fresh chicken. I will start introducing them to Felix foil kitten
meals soon.

| This is Amorcatz
Noblesteed,aka Charlie. He is a
lovely boy who has proved very popular. He has been booked by a good
friend of the family and is going to live in Leicester and learn how to
play Rugby. (His new daddy plays for Leicester Tigers) |
This is a rather fuzzy picture of the
little choc boy Amorcatz Pussinboots. He is very affectionate and naughty
and hasn't been booked yet :-( |
 |
 |
| These two girls are causing
me untold problems, of the nicest possible kind. Their names are Amorcatz
Princessfiona and Amorcatz Fairygodmother. I am going to be keeping one of
them but at the moment am finding it very hard to decide which. They are
both exceptionally affectionate and bold. The one that I keep will
be called Princessfiona and the other will be fairygodmother. I'm sorry if
anyone out there would like on of them because I have a feeling I will be
dithering right up until its time for them to leave. I will post pictures
of the 2 cream boys as soon as they stay still long enough for me to do so
:-)) |
 |
29/03/05
Well this is my best attempt at getting the 2 cream
boys, Amorcatz Amazingdragon and Amorcatz Gingerbreadman. They are both
either extremely lively or asleep. Anyone who comes to choose from these
two will find it very difficult as they are very alike.

Well this is a rare photo - all six of them together.
As you can see, its a hard life being a kitten! Little choc boy is just
inviting anybody to tickle his tummy, blue tortie is buried under a pile
of Burmese and Charlie, the brown boy, is just keeping an eye on things! I
can watch them for hours when they're playing. I've bought them a cat gym
and they love stalking each other on that! Mum, Enya, is spending more and
more time in the house. She quite likes having a rest from them!

My official kitten testers, my grandchildren Samuel
and Mia came to visit the kittens today. An excellent time was had by all.
The kittens had a whale of a time with a captive audience ready to play
and cuddle. Samuel and Mia thought it was excellent fun and have both
decided they are going to come and work for nanny when they're older to
help look after the kits. I'm not so sure they'll like litter tray duty
though :-))

The two cream boys, to the left, and the chocolate
boy and blue tortie girl, below, will all be ready for prospective new
owners to come and visit after Tuesday when they will be having their 1st
injections. I always wait until after their 1st injections so that I am
minimising any health risks. I want to ensure that my babies are as
healthy as they can possibly be. You would not believe how difficult it is
to take their photos. They're never still! |

We had some very exciting visitors today. Anatoly and
Valentina Krassavine www.photocat.co.uk
came to visit us in the afternoon. They arrived with loads of equipment
and toys ready to capture the best of my cats. Here is a sample of the
lovely pictures of the kittens that they took. I am amazed at the quality
and their endless patience. |

Its really strange because usually with
my kittens the girls go first and then the boys are snapped up soon after.
For some reason, poor little
Fairygodmother, is left on the shelf. To be fair I was considering keeping
her to show and breed from but I have decided to make this my last Burmese
litter so that I can concentrate on my Tonks and LaPerms.
Charlie, who has been chosen since week
6, is going to his new home on Sunday which will leave poor fairy on her
own to be beaten up by the tonk hooligans.
Surely there is someone out there I can
audition to see if they are a suitable owner for this beautiful blue
tortie girl :-)) |
