After a long labour Kizzie, my blue pointed tonkinese
gave birth to 5 bouncing babies. I think there's 2 girls and 3 boys
but I'm not too sure. Dad is Mymystic Pharoah so this is a repeat of the
last mating that produced Amorcatz Minnie Coopurr. |

The kittens are very big with the smallest weighing
in at 82g and the largest at 106g. They will all be some type of blue -
either blue tonk pattern, blue tabby or blue pointed, like their mum. It
is far too early to tell. I am not too sure about their sexes at the
moment. I'm wondering now if they might be all boys :-) |

Kizzie is settling down to motherhood well. The
kittens are thriving as you can see. Her latest game in the night is to
make one of the kits squeal, which wakes me up. She then watches to see if
I'll get up. If I don't she grabs a kitten in her mouth and tries to go
under the bed with it. I, of course, shoot out of bed at this point! She
has me well trained! |

These kittens are very vigorous. They are finding
their way round the pen quite easily, albeit with a wobble. They recognise
my voice now and look up when they hear me. Their eyes are all fully open
now. We have discovered that there is only one boy after all. The rest are
all girls :-)

What little sweeties they are now. They are very
vocal and like making their presence felt. They are all developing their
own characters and just love having their little tummies tickled!

They are getting very adventurous now. I have moved
them from our bedroom down to the kitten room ready for them to safely
explore their environment. As you can see they are ready to explore any
minute now.

They have really learnt how to explore now. They love
this purpose built cat gym I bought for them. Unfortunately they don't
keep still long enough for me to get pictures of their faces. They are
tucking into solid food now and growl beautifully if someone tries to
muscle in on their meal :-))

The kits are 6 weeks old now and
developing little personalities. Geraldine, the blue girl at the back, is
going to my dear friend Helena as a breed and show queen. I love it when
my kittens go to lovely pet homes but I am really thrilled to think that
one of mine is going on the show bench and to produce some lovely kittens.
I will go with Helena to Geraldine's first show and will be as excited as
if I was showing my own :-)

The kittens are now 8 weeks old and into
everything. You won't believe how difficult it is to get a picture of all
5 of them together. They are always far too interested in what is going on
round them and rarely stay in one place unless they are asleep!

The kittens are all in the main house
now. I wait until they have had their first injections before letting them
mix with my other cats as a health precaution. they are now 10 weeks and
having a whale of a time exploring and playing with everything. They
are so confident and strolled up to the big cats and said 'here we are.
Now play with us please!' This makes them easy to integrate into their new
homes, especially if there are older cats already there!

The kittens still love to cuddle up with
mum. They're 12 weeks here and have just had their last vaccs. The three
caramel kittes on the left haven't found willing slaves yet. I think a lot
of people are going on holiday soon. !f anyone would be interested in any
of the caramel kits I would be happy to keep them until you return from
holiday. Contact me on sueamor@aol.com
if you're interested.
