May 24, First the good news. On Saturday 25, live on Nitro FM at the Main Event, our crew Jay White asked Miranda to marry him. Miranda said yes and as you can see from the photo they are very happy. Congratulations to you both.
Thanks to Naughty Nigel for arranging this.
Unfortunately our weekend did not go so well. During the burn out for our second run on Friday, a rod let go destroying the block, crank, rods, camshaft, lifters, 2 pistons, bending 4 valves and blowing the inlet plenum apart. So once we have found a new block and crank we have a lot of work to do!

May 15, We had problems at the Big Bang Santa Pod, including a very small part breaking in the clutch and the wheelie bar hitting too early upsetting the car on the launch. Also the data logger not working properly. We have fitted new parts to the clutch, installed a replacement data logger, raised the wheelie bar and are just awaiting delivery of an MSD 10+ ignition system, which we aim to fit before the Main Event.

6th April. A change of oil pump, a new dizzy cap and rotor arm seems to have cured our problems. We are now all ready for the Big Bang at Santa Pod Raceway on 26th April 2008.

30th March. The picture on the left was taken on Easter Sunday morning by one of our new crew Miranda. Needless to say we did not race that day. The santa pod crew started clearing the track at 5.00am Monday morning and got the meet finnished. We didn't fair so well, losing in round one to Jon Morton with oil pressure problems and only 7 cylinders lit.
