It is open plan, with a dining table and easy chairs. It has stairs off.
With a colour television, video, and a plentiful supply of books and games (chess, scrabble etc.) it can be home from home.

The Kitchen has an oil fired Aga stove (lit in winter, or in summer, by arrangement).
There is also an electric stove, microwave, refrigerator, electric kettle, and toaster.
All cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery are provided; an iron, ironing board and also a vacuum cleaner.
